Vice President, Human Resources
Scott Ginnetti is the Vice President of Human Resources and leader of Baptist University at Baptist Health Care where he is responsible for the leadership, learning and development for this 6,000 employee health system. Scott also leads the Human Resources Department recruiting and employment team which focuses on employee recruiting, hiring, retention, organizational development, and the design and delivery of specialized training programs.
Scott also leads several volunteer teams that support leadership/curriculum development, and is responsible for earning strategy and program implementation of New Employee Orientations, Executive Training Programs, Professional Skills Training, and Specialty Training Events for key business challenges.
In 2006, Scott was recognized with the Outstanding Leader Award for Quest, a new leader orientation program he helped create and facilitate.  BHC’s CEO then awarded him sole responsibility for learning strategy and leadership of Baptist University.
Prior to joining Baptist, Scott spent seven years at The Home Depot and held multiple positions in their corporate-based Learning Organization including designing and implementing key programs and tools for operational, merchandising, and customer service initiatives, and as an award-winning eLearning Instructional Designer.  Scott began his career as a 1st grade teacher in Gwinnett County Georgia.
Scott holds a BA from American University.  He is currently pursuing his Masters in Education at the University of Pennsylvania’s Work-based Learning Leadership program, sponsored by Wharton and the Graduate School of Education.
